Tom Netznik is Controller at National Industries for the Blind (NIB), the nation’s largest employment resource for people who are blind. Tom oversees the financial activities of NIB and its related organizations including day-to-day accounting activities, and internal and external financial and regulatory reporting. In addition, he supervises the annual audit and IRS Form 990.
Before joining NIB, Tom worked with GRF CPAs & Advisors for 14 years. At GRF, he provided accounting and auditing services to an extensive number of nonprofit clients including associations, international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), private voluntary organizations and charitable institutions, traveling to more than 30 countries throughout Africa, Asia and Europe on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Tom serves as treasurer and a member of the board of directors for Art Enables, a DC art gallery and vocational arts program. Art Enables is dedicated to creating opportunities for artists with disabilities to make, market, and earn income from their original and compelling artwork.
