Helen Licata is a senior professional with over 20 years’ experience in finance, primarily in the alternative investment industry and international development. Ms Licata’s responsibilities have included designing and building scalable organizational infrastructure and operational processes as well as sourcing, negotiating and actively managing financial and philanthropic investments in a global context. As Director of Education Programs at the ELMA Philanthropies from 2009-2013, Ms Licata leveraged her previous business, organizational and finance expertise to recommend grants and investments to scalable African educational programs. Over the past seven years, Ms Licata has been a strong supporter of CAMFED’s innovative educational and community initiatives in Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Ghana and Zimbabwe.
