Vicky grew up in Zimbabwe and was very fortunate to have been the recipient of a scholarship to a very good school. This great academic start led to a qualification as a Chartered Accountant. Vicky has a strong desire to give back and is very excited to work with CAMFED on transforming girls’ lives through education.
Vicky has had a broad range of work experience including working in manufacturing, property developments, IT and consulting. She spent 20 years in South Africa working for McKinsey and then The Boston Consulting Group as Head of Finance and Operations for sub-Saharan Africa, and then nearly six years at Dalberg Advisors as the Global Head of Finance. Currently Vicky is the Chief Financial Officer of MedAccess – a social finance company with a mission to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for people living in underserved communities. Vicky is now based in Southampton, UK.
Outside of work, Vicky’s interests include wildlife and bird photography, travel, cooking, art and trying to conquer golf.
