Katie Smith

Katie Smith is responsible for supporting organisational alignment around CAMFED’s strategy and ensuring that, as a consortium, we are greater than the sum of our parts in delivering on it. This includes coordination of global technical functions to ensure that CAMFED International operates as a highly effective hub for the global CAMFED consortium. Katie has over 18 years’ experience managing complex programs and partnerships across the development, education and publishing sectors. Immediately prior to joining CAMFED in 2013, she worked for Pearson, the global education company, as director of its K-12 programme in Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
