We are proud to share the amazing story of CAMA member Ayisha Fuseini, who was featured in a recent issue of Dubai’s Executive Women Magazine.

Born and raised in rural Ghana, Ayisha beat the odds by completing secondary school and went on to build a successful global shea butter business which employs hundreds of women in her community. She was supported by a grant provided through the CAMFED Innovation Bursary Program in partnership with The MasterCard Foundation. She received training and the funds necessary to launch Asheba Enterprise.

“CAMFED and CAMA really changed my life. I have benefited greatly from my education,” said Ayisha. “My business has really changed things for my family. Now, if someone in the family is sick, I know I can support their care. For those who are in school, I can support them with books and school fees.”
