CGAP, an independent think tank housed at the World Bank, is convening a panel of experts to discuss how financial inclusion initiatives – done right – help young women successfully navigate key transitions.

CAMFED Ghana’s Diana Lugutuah will join the line-up to talk about the tools and services our programs make available to fulfill the needs of young women from underserved, rural communities. She’ll also explore the complementary resources and partnerships that help ensure young women succeed, and can pay forward the benefits of sustainable business to many more. Diana will draw on qualitative research led by CGAP, in collaboration with CAMFED Ghana, in which 13 members of the CAMFED Association of women leaders were participants.

Diana’s fellow panelists are:

  • Sophie Sirtaine, Chief Executive Officer, CGAP
  • Antonique Koning, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, CGAP
  • Rani Deshpande, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, CGAP
  • Marieme Esther Dassanou, Director – Gender Programs, Mastercard Foundation
  • Mercedes Canalda De Beras Goico, Executive President, Banco de Ahorro y Crédito Adopem, S.A.
