CAMFED - Championing Equity and Social Justice - Video Transcript

Voiceover A girl excluded from school becomes a woman excluded from society. She has no say over her body, her future or the future of her family. She’s excluded from decision making authorities that affect her life, her wellbeing and her community.

That’s why social justice starts with girls’ education, and it’s led by young women working together to change this system. CAMFED unites people across the globe to stand with our sisters in the CAMFED Association. We are the largest and fastest growing movement of educated young women in Africa. We have experienced poverty and inequality that pushes girls out of school.

So we work with our communities to level the playing field, creating the environment for girls to learn and thrive, and providing the tools and supports for them to become independent and influential.

Your investments ignite sustainable change. Together, we can support 5 million more girls to go to school and help today’s excluded children become tomorrow’s champions of social justice. Join us. Together, we will shape a better future.
