Camfed received praise and renewed commitment from the Government of Tanzania last week when officials gathered to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Camfed and the Prime Minister’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government).
“The NGO plays an active role in addressing some of the problems facing the sector and it has set an example by directly engaging itself. I call upon other players to emulate the example set by Camfed.”
Cementing Camfed’s close working partnership with the Government of Tanzania, Deputy Minister Kassim Majaliwa (Regional Administration and Local Government – Education) said:
