When she thrives, we all thrive
Together this giving season, we can make a difference that ripples outward to benefit everyone.
Beauty, CAMFED Association Member Growing up with my mother and father, I would always come across agriculture and planting. I ended up having a passion for planting and horticulture. Our father worked and our mother was a subsistence farmer. She was able to sustain us as a family. But challenges arose when my mother passed away. My mother died when I was 9 years old. Then my father passed away when I was 14 years old. We were then a child headed family. We were now taking care of each other. I did not write my final examination due to financial constraints. There was no one who could help me pay my fees.

Angeline Murimirwa, CAMFED Executive Director for Africa We look at beauty and how she introduces technology and how she does this together as a family. You know, with everybody in her family, it’s remarkable.
Beauty, CAMFED Association Member Apart from my business, I want to be a role model in my community. I want to inspire and motivate others. But the most important thing is education. I want my children to be educated. I see that if we as women are educated, even in skills, not just academically, the result will be something big.
