Miriam is a supporter, connector and catalyst of non-profit organisations in education. She cares deeply about access to opportunity for girls and young women as well as the education of children affected by conflict. She is a mentor to teenage refugees. Miriam chairs the Stichting Careduca Foundation, which advances the education of children, who are deprived of an education due to conflict, economic or social reasons. She is a former member of the Supervisory Board of Indivers BV, Board of Governors of Marymount International School, Trustee of the American University of Paris and Partner of Business Analytica. Miriam is retired from a 35-year career in business, where she held several international marketing and business development roles. She holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland.
