I'm Ramatu. Count me in to support quality education! - Video Transcript

Back to video

Ramatu, Ghana Because I’m educated, I am included in decision making about women’s health, which allows me to raise awareness about reproductive health.

My name is Ramatu, the National Chairperson of CAMFED Association, Ghana. I was supported by CAMFED during my secondary school days.

I work with the CAMFED Association network to provide an impact in my community, we lobbied for 22 elders from our district assembly to support a school in our community that was very in need of it.

We also organize training. We partnered with Open Academy to train 25 young women in our community, which awarded them certification in graphic design.

I’m a leader in my community, by providing mentorship to young vulnerable girls in marginalized areas in my community.

If you want to [ensure all children can] access quality education and make the world a better place, count me in.
