CAMFED's Mobile Learning Labs are using the power of technology to improve learning outcomes in schools

Mobile Learning Lab sessions started being delivered by CAMFED in partnership with the 60 million girls Foundation, using tablets that connect to an offline server, called RACHEL. The RACHEL device provides thousands of learning resources to help reinforce lessons learned in class, and also introduces students to technology for education. The sessions are delivered by CAMFED-trained Learner Facilitators — young women who were once supported by CAMFED to go to school and now give back to their communities by volunteering in their former school to mentor and support students.
