Mariah Mbewe is an accomplished in-house lawyer, with expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, litigation, commercial, banking and finance, compliance, and labor law. She has been at the Bar since 2016 and served the corporate sector since 2012. Mariah currently serves as Company Secretary for VisionFund Zambia Limited and is a key member of their Senior Management Team.
Mariah is a member of the Law Association of Zambia and a student member of the Chartered Governance Institute. Once herself supported in her education by CAMFED, she is also a member of the CAMFED Association of women leaders, committed to supporting the next generation of girls to fulfill their potential.
Mariah holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia and a Post-graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education.
