30th Anniversary Hilton Humanitarian Prize Event

CAMFED leaders, board members and champions were delighted to join a celebration of the Hilton Prize Laureate community, themed “30 Years of the Hilton Humanitarian Prize: Celebrating Humanity.”

Our CEO, Angeline Murimirwa, was invited to speak on a panel beside other Hilton Prize Laureate representatives, as they reflected on three decades of impact.

The discussion was moderated by Raj Kumar, President and Editor-in-Chief at Devex, and joined by:

• Dr. Githinji Gitahi – Group CEO, Amref Health Africa (1999)
• Shameran Abed – Executive Director, BRAC International (2008)
• Angeline Murimirwa – CEO, CAMFED (2021)

The group highlight the ongoing commitment of the laureate community to partnering with the most marginalized communities — in order to eradicate injustice and set the world up for future success.
