Sandra Spence

In addition to serving as CAMFED Canada’s Executive Director until her retirement in September 2025, Sandra also collaborated with partners supporting programs which extend across multiple CAMFED national entities in Africa.

Prior to joining CAMFED in 2011, Sandra worked as a research consultant focusing on global health and the private sector, following a 12-year career in product management spanning medical technology and scientific instruments. She holds an MPH from the University of California at Berkeley, and a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
