Moiz Bin Junaid
Moiz Bin Junaid joined CAMFED Canada as Director of Finance in March 2024. He brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, with a career dedicated to advancing education, livelihoods, and health outcomes across the development sector. Moiz specializes in building strong, accountable finance teams and systems that enable mission-driven organizations to deliver at scale within complex, multi-country program environments. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with major institutional donors including Global Affairs Canada, USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the David & Lucile Packard Foundation managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and leading initiatives to streamline processes, strengthen financial oversight, and ensure compliance.
Moiz is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Canada), a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA-UK), and holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. Passionate about the transformative power of education particularly for girls and young women, he is proud to support CAMFED’s mission to tackle poverty and inequality through girls’ education and women’s leadership.
