Voiceover Women’s economic inclusion has the power to change nations. An economically empowered women can secure her own future, the future of her family and develop her community. Educated women reinvest 90% of their income back into their families, creating healthier and wealthier communities and supporting more children through school.

Yet in many parts of our rural sub-Saharan Africa, young women lack access to quality education, skills, jobs, land and loans. They remain isolated and vulnerable to exploitation, early marriage and teenage pregnancy. Women’s economic exclusion perpetuates the vicious cycle of poverty. Together we can change this.

CAMFED unites people across the globe in common cause to stand with our sisters in the CAMFED Association. We are the largest and fastest growing movement of educated young women in Africa. We are starting and growing sustainable enterprises, creating jobs for our communities, improving food security and spreading knowledge and skills, influencing real and lasting change. As businesswoman, we can increase our income and keep more girls in school.

Together with you, we can educate 5 million more girls and help today’s excluded children become tomorrow’s business leaders. 5 million more educated women. 5 million more empowered female activists. 5 million more women paving the way towards systems change. There is no time to lose. Join us today to shape an equitable tomorrow.
