TIME100 Most Influential People
CAMFED CEO, Angeline Murimirwa, named to TIME’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people.
Winnie Farao, Founding member of the CAMFED Association, Zimbabwe My name is Winnie Farao, I’m a CAMA [CAMFED Association] member from Zimbabwe. Ten years from now, I am looking forward to seeing the real change, the evidence of change when a young woman is educated, and the evidence now being manifested at a bigger level.
Right now we are affecting our communities, we are affecting our families, we are affecting the region. I think in ten years from now, the young women network should really make noise and be heard and be felt in the globe. Because I really feel that with the experience, with everything we have done so far, there is so much we can do as young women to really make such a big impact on the world.
And ten years from now, believe it. You will see CAMA [the CAMFED Association] and we are not going to be doubted!
