What is an hour worth?

Office workers spend on average two hours a day checking and replying to emails. Students like Nomakhosi used to spend the same amount of time walking to school, often waking up before 5am and returning home after dark. With CAMFED’s support, she now has a bicycle to cut this commute time, keeping her energy up and lifting her grades.

Donating an hour of your paycheck could provide all the things a marginalized girl like Nomakhosi needs to attend school, including items like bicycles, school fees, menstrual products, or school books, allowing her to thrive in school and beyond.

Use the calculator below to discover how many school days of comprehensive support your hour could fund.
