Through the power of education, CAMFED has changed millions of lives, and we are on a mission to change millions more with your support.

For girls from the most disadvantaged communities in rural Africa, the chances of securing an education are almost non-existent. Currently, out of every 100 girls from poor families, just five will complete secondary school.

Today, you can change a girl’s story and ensure she has everything she needs to stay in school and thrive – including uniforms, notebooks, and menstrual products.

Girls like Esnart who are graduating from school after receiving support from CAMFED – and joining our sisterhood of young women leaders, now over a quarter of a million members strong.

Esnart's story

Esnart, a CAMFED supported student in Malawi, scored 6 points (the highest grade) in her school leaving exams. She was one of only three students nationally and the only girl to be awarded such a high grade. At her graduation ceremony in front of the whole school, she was congratulated on her achievement, and was also welcomed officially into the CAMFED Association.

Will you ensure another girl graduates next year?

When one girl graduates, three more follow. Each member of our powerful African sisterhood financially supports (on average) 3 more girls through school.
