International Women’s Day panel discussion: “Give to Gain: Why Supporting Women & Girls Matters More Than Ever”, hosted by Together Women Rise.
On Thursday March 5, Together Women Rise hosted a virtual panel event. A timely discussion highlighting how generosity, collaboration, and community investment drive lasting progress for women and girls.
Speaking on behalf of CAMFED we had Muka Mweemba, Programme Manager – Zambia, who shared insights from her work. She was joined by representatives from Landesa and Speak Up for the Poor.

Girls educated with CAMFED’s support go on to join Africa’s largest and fastest-growing network of young women activists. Each member of the Association, on average, supports another three girls to go to school with her own resources, as well as mentoring and encouraging many more.
