Janet is an educationist with a wealth of education management and classroom experience. She holds a BA General Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. Currently serving as the District Education Officer for Gokwe South, Janet oversees the support provided to the district by development partners including CAMFED, Save the Children and World Vision. Janet is a revolutionary educator who believes in not only providing students with an academic education, but also with an education in life skills to navigate beyond school. Her empathy and intimate understanding of deprivation has enabled her to ensure the continued engagement of students and teachers alike, a partnership which is producing better outcomes for learners.
