Namenda has a wealth of experience working on gender and education programs. She joined CAMFED Zambia in 2009 as Program Officer to develop relationships with our partner schools. Rising through the organization, she became Head of Programs in 2017 and Deputy National Director in 2021, before taking on the role of National Director in 2022.

Namenda has been leading the delivery and scale up of programs to support vulnerable children, especially girls, to access and complete school. She has also been working closely with school graduates in the CAMFED Association, supporting them to become influential, independent women leading change in their communities.

Before joining CAMFED, Namenda worked for the Young Women’s Christian Association as Program Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Zambia.
