Luxon Shumba

Luxon Shumba joined CAMFED in March 2005, with extensive experience of working in international charities, including several years as Finance Manager with Consumers International (a UK-based international charity) and four years with the International Red Cross. Luxon was born and grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe, and obtained his first degree from the University of Zimbabwe, an MBA from the University of the Free State in South Africa and an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. During his time at CAMFED, Luxon has built a comprehensive finance system that places the entitlement of the child at its center.
