Emily Zemke is responsible for overseeing CAMFED’s global development strategy, ensuring that the organisation is highly-effective and coordinated in its philanthropic partnerships and fundraising. Emily has 20 years’ experience working with individual, foundation and corporate donors to build partnerships that enable high-impact education and research programs. Before joining CAMFED in 2018, she worked in development at the University of Cambridge, and prior to that in regional development at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York.

Emily holds a PhD in Education, a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism, and a BA in English Literature.
