Miriam Zisengwe

Miriam Zisengwe has a wealth of experience in the banking sector, with over a decade working in senior management roles, where she has been instrumental in establishing new departments and units, developing customer value propositions, carrying out market research, and writing business cases for resource allocation. She has an in-depth understanding of diverse sectors of the economy, including agriculture value chains in tree nuts, crops, and livestock, as well as manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, engineering and education.

Miriam is a regular speaker at major business conferences, including for the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) and Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Women’s Desk. She is a past Vice President of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) Manicaland Chamber, former Board Member of the Murambi Garden Clinic in Manicaland, and former Executive Committee Member and Chairperson of the Programs and Development Sub-Committee of Professional Women, Women Executives and Business Women’s Forum (PROWEB).

Miriam holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Honors in Economic History. She has also earned a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and an Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe Diploma.
