Khwezi Magwaza is a social impact creative from South Africa, based in New York City. As a producer for radio and TV for many years, she launched the popular entertainment show The Real Goboza, hosted by Trevor Noah, and was Editor-in-chief of Seventeen Magazine South Africa. In 2011 Magwaza was selected for the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program and completed her master’s degree in Journalism at New York University in the innovative digital specialization, Studio 20. She went on to lead digital content strategy for South Africa’s biggest independent radio group Primedia Broadcasting, Praekelt Foundation (now Reach Digital Health), and Girl Effect. She is currently the Director of Content and Digital Strategy at The Audacious Project, TED’s initiative to inspire and fund global change.
