When she thrives, we all thrive
Together this giving season, we can make a difference that ripples outward to benefit everyone.
Rehema, CAMFED Association member, Tanzania My name is Rehema, a businesswomen engaging in agribusiness. I started this business in 2017. Previously, I was farming in a traditional way and my profits were low because I didn’t have the right agriculture skills or business training. In 2021, CAMFED supported me to attend business training in value addition where I learned how to add value to my farm produce.
Previously I was selling paddy (unprocessed rice) but after the value addition training I am now selling rice as a final product. I package my rice to serve customers in different areas, and the packaging also helps to promote my product and my business.
I use the profit I get from my business to support marginalized girls, and I also help my fellow young sisters and advise them to work together as a team to grow their businesses and succeed like me. Thank you.
