NewsPublished on:

We bring you the news that after 30 years of unwavering commitment to the girls and young women we serve, Lucy Lake will be transitioning from CAMFED at the end of July.

We are deeply grateful for everything Lucy has done to elevate CAMFED to the powerful movement it represents today. It is thanks to her absolute, selfless and relentless commitment that we are in the strongest position we have ever been, on a trajectory of transformative impact for and by girls and women.

Our sincerest good wishes to Lucy for her next step. We know that she will continue to make waves for girls’ education and gender equality, and she will always be valued for her critical role in our growing global movement.

Anne-Birgitte Albrectsen (Chair of the Board) and Angie Murimirwa (Chief Executive Officer)

It has been an honor to serve CAMFED over the last 30 years, and to be part of such an incredible team who are steadfast in their accountability to girls and young women. I will forever champion CAMFED and everything it stands for.
