I'm Lucia. Count me in to break the cycle of poverty! - Video Transcript

Back to video

Lucia, Zimbabwe Because I’m educated, I’m now included in the mentoring of students in my school, ensuring safe and secure transition of learners into the world.

My name is Lucia and I am a CAMFED Association member. I was at the verge of dropping out of school, when CAMFED found me and provided me with school going needs. I felt loved, I felt valued.

Had it not been for CAMFED, I wouldn’t be what I am now. In my school I am a Teacher Mentor. I am offering psycho-social support to my learners, so that I ensure that each and every child attends school goes to whatever level they want to.

If you want to break the cycle of poverty, count me in!
