Planning Your Event

There are plenty of fun ways to support CAMFED, from quiz nights to bake sales dress-up days to garden parties.

Give yourself plenty of time to plan the event, promote it, and get people involved.

Once you have decided on a date, the next step is deciding where to host it.

We have plenty of amazing resources to help you get started with planning and promoting your event. Just remember to make it clear you are fundraising for CAMFED and tell your guests what we do!

Fundraising Ideas for your event

Bottle Tombola: Ask your friends and family to donate anything in a bottle – from wine to shampoo, label them with a raffle ticket and raffle off the prizes.

Food & Drink: Sell themed food and drink at your event to keep everyone refreshed and add to your fundraising total!

Sell tickets: Ticketing your event is a great way to collect donations and makes a great effort towards your goal.

During your event

Make it easy for people to donate, you could print out a link or QR code to your fundraising page for those who forget to bring cash.
Use our downloadable assets to help your guests learn more about CAMFED.
Take photos – don’t forget to post about your party online, tag us using @camfed!

After your event

Once you’ve tidied up, count the donations and celebrate your event’s success. There are many ways to pay in funds, but the easiest is to use our online form.
Saying thank you – once we receive your fundraising total, we will share more information about the funds you raised will be used. This is great information you can share with everyone who supported your event.
