Development Education
Camfed’s development education team works with schools and universities in the UK and in Africa to bring global diversity to life. Camfed’s unique perspective on the power of education to change lives creates an inspiring approach to development education.
Supporting the curriculum at primary and secondary level, we work on the eight key concepts of the global dimension, incorporating global citizenship, justice, rights, diversity, sustainability, conflict resolution, interdependence and values.
Fantastic resources featuring girls and women who have achieved their dreams through education are available accompanied by teachers’ packs, in-school sessions, and INSET work.
Using games, songs, beautiful photography and stories, all our resources are designed to combine exciting learning with the aims of the National Curriculum and the flexibility to fit in with each school’s needs and interests.
